Columbus Dennis Batiste II, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist. He served as the Chief of Cardiology at Kaiser Permanente Riverside and Moreno Valley Medical Centers from 2008-2020 .
In 2011, Dr Batiste led out tin establishing the integrative Cardiovascular Disease Program. The objective of this program is to prevent the onset and reoccurrence of cardiovascular disease focusing on lifestyle modification, In 2016 Dr. Batiste was an intricate member of the team that developed the Southern California Kaiser Permanente Home-Based Cardiac Rehab Program in conjunction with Samsung Technologies. In 2018 Dr. Batiste assumed the role of Regional Medical Director of the SCPMG Home-Based Cardias Rehab Program across Southern California.
He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He is also known as the “Healthy Heart Doc” and he endorses a holistic approach to health care, emphasizing nutrition, stress reduction, and exercise.
