What are the event hours of operation?
Festival hours are 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Vendor set-up begins at 8:30 am and ends at 10:30 am. All booths must be set up by 10:30 am. Please do not arrive earlier than 8:00 am. volunteers are available to assist you with unloading at 8:30 am.
How will I unload and reload my belongings, and where do I park?
Volunteers will be available to assist you with loading and unloading items from your vehicle.

What about tents?
Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tents, table and chairs-. For safety, all tents must be staked to the ground.
How big is my booth space?
Booth spots are the standard 10' x 10' (unless you purchased a 10' x 20' space), with a few additional feet behind for storing supplies. We will offer you as much extra space as possible. Please stay as close to this measurement as you can. We have over 50 vendors, so it is important for everyone to stay within their designated space. We are making an effort to maintain a distance between vendor booths and are working on providing a physical barrier to avoid visitors cutting in between vendors.
Do I need to (or can I) bring tables?
We will provide one 8' table and two chairs for each booth. You may bring additional tables if needed, but please do not exceed your booth space, and be sure to put identification on your table(s).
Do I provide my own signage?
Yes, you are responsible for and may bring whatever signage you like, as long as it does not interfere with the booths around you. If you have a sign or banner outside your tent on the grass, so please post your menu in a very visible location and update as you sell out of items.
Will vendors have access to water and ice?
While there is drinking water at the supplied by the City this year, for not just food vendors but for everyone. Let's have a Waste free year! Please bring your own bottles to fill and refill your water bottles.
We encourage all food vendors to bring as much of their own water as possible, however. Keep in mind, if you are preparing food onsite or serving open food, you will need water for hand-washing and dish-washing. If you are a food vendor who are preparing food at the event, please Contact KC Health Department for your food permit (816) 513-6008
Will you have recycling and composting at the event?
Yes, Zero waste year! Please use compostable materials. Trash will be provided by city’s Services and we are excited that this event focuses on being a waste free event- please use recycling bin for your needs . KC compost disposal will supply us with compost bags.
What if I have oil disposal needs?
We do not have provisions for hot oil disposal, so any vendors doing deep fat frying will be responsible for their own oil disposal. We cannot stress this enough: Please do NOT put oil in trash bins. Please be considerate of others and of the beautiful park grounds.
Can I bring my dog?
You can, but be sure to bring water and waste bags. (We will have some water bowls and bags available, should anyone forget to bring their own, but we strongly encourage individual responsibility.) Pets are not allowed in food booths areas. Health regulations prohibit animals (other than certified service animals) from areas around food preparation. If you do choose to bring your dog, be sure to pick up any waste, and never leave them in the car.
What about payment options?
You are welcome to allow cash and card, or card only. If you are only accepting cash, you may lose out on customers as the pandemic has caused a lot of businesses to limit cash transactions or go card only (example: Busch Stadium) and consumers might be used to only carrying cards. If you decide to only collect cash as a form of payment, please post a large sign saying so that can be viewed by people at the back of your line.
